Native to Brazil
Climate
Temperatures between 65° and 75° are ideal. Definitely keep this plant away from frost. Peperomias like bright light but also tolerates lower light conditions. They also like higher humidity ~60-80%.
Water needs
Peperomias do not like to be in wet, soggy soil. The stem is soft and will rot pretty fast. I tend to bottom water for that reason.

This plant is not toxic to humans, dogs and cats.
Growth habit
Peperomia stays small and compact. The ideal plant for small spaces or terrariums.
