I'm a wife, mother, plant enthusiast and owner of Inga's Greenery. What started as a hobby soon became my business. My desire to share my plants and plant knowledge helped me to take this big step in my life.
When you buy a plant from me, you also get the info you need to successfully care for your new plant. With a little knowledge and consistency, anyone can have a green thumb!
inspirationHow it began
My plant journey began in Germany where I was born and raised. Growing up, my mother designed a beautiful garden filled with thriving plants. Even after moving out, I would return home and relax amidst the tranquility of her garden. I met my American husband while he was playing football in Germany and eventually relocated to be with him in his hometown in Lansing, Michigan. Since then, I have tried to replicate the beautiful garden my mother created.
To extend my growing season during long Michigan winters, I tried my hand at indoor gardening. My plant collection grew and soon I had a whole garden... After the first winter, I realized I had a knack for caring for house plants and that I had a lot of fun taking care of them. A few years later, I decided I could take my plant expertise and help others gain the confidence and skills to successfully raise plants.
